Influenced by Davey Lighting’s long history producing fixtures for British maritime vessels, the Original BTC/Davey Lighting Well Glass Pendant is industrial design at its best. The galvanized steel and brass structure has a rough and weathered texture, while the hand-blown glass shades emits a warm diffused light. The subtle swag of the black cord from the brass loop fitting resembles of a work site lamp, while the oblong shape of the glass is reminiscent of traditional ship deck fixtures.
Founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC is a lighting company rooted in national pride, manufacturing classic and industrial British design for contemporary homes. Encouraging local enterprise, all products are exclusively produced in the UK, utilizing factories in Oxford, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent to hand-produce and assemble the fine bone china, aluminum and lighting components used in Original BTC fixtures.
